Robert James Dunne

January 10, 1945 - 1985

Per Marg from Facebook post:
"He was the youngest of Daddy Dunne & Nola's 10 children. He lived in Ottawa, Canada and was killed in a motorcycle crash when he was 40 yrs. old. After graduating from Assumption University in Windsor, Ontario Canada (Daddy Dunne's alma mater, just across the river from Detroit)) he married a Canadian girl, Cathy Mallon, and became a Canadian citizen. An interesting guy, he raised Huskies, had a degree in philosophy, was a mailman in Ottawa and he loved riding his motorcycle."

Per Kathy from Facebook comment:
"I say Hi to my Uncle Bob every Jan 10. I remember his bunkbed had 'Kilroy was here' etched into wood, and he loved climbing down the side of the tree from his 2nd floor bedroom at back of Parkside house. My brother Tom & I followed him around the neighborhood & up at the cottage, also wearing our sailor hats on our 'adventures'. He's the one I always relate to our FTJITLWAYCO Club! He came to live with us for awhile in '66. I'm so happy that I had one more visit with him when he joined our family on our last get together at the cottage, where we all flew kites together & of course, jumped in the lake. Most of all, I remember his smiling face! Miss you, Uncle Bob.....keep smiling down us!"

An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
